hello waterlooians:
long-time austin resident and disc golfer steve conner, waterloo disc golf club member #99, is facing serious health concerns. he has been placed on the "short-list" to receive a liver transplant. steve is facing, as you might imagine, quickly-mounting medical billings. his family, friends and golfers are gathering this saturday, november 8th, to help steve offset these obligations. the event will be at a gorgeous location, hudson's bend's la hacienda resort on lake travis starting at 1p with complimentary bar b q, live music and flowing kegs...all a golfing brother might need on a fall weekend in the hill country. there will also be a mobile blood bank truck onsite for your life-giving donation. a silent-auction has many attractive items, and monetary donations are also welcome.
thank you for considering steve's situation in these tight economic times. we hope to see you at the lake.

I also want to encourage everyone to try to help get the last 3 baskets sponsors we need for Lions Park. We will probably have to start work on the course expansion in December and we will need to get the baskets by then also. Please contact me if you need a copy of the proposal. TDGA NOVEMBER SCHEDULE

Sunday November 9th

South Temple Community Park Mini

5000 South 5^th Street, Temple, TX.

Sunday November 16th

Temple Lions Park Mini

4320 Lions Park Road, Temple, TX.

ALL TDGA MINIS

You do not have to be a member to participate in the tournaments.

Bag Tag challenge mandatory at the Minis for all current TDGA participating members.

Memberships will be available at the Minis.

All scheduled events subject to cancellation without notice.

Please E-MAIL for tournament updates or questions.

Doubles to follow morning Minis if enough people participate.

DIVISIONS

Novice, Recreational, Intermediate, Advanced, and Open.

Intermediate, Advanced, and Open play from the long boxes.

All other divisions play from the short boxes.

It takes three players to make a division.

FEES

Novice, Rec., and Intermediate $5.00.

Advanced and Open $8.00.

$2.00 optional ace pot.

2009 MEMBERSHIPS

2009 Memberships are now available for new members and current members. Join in now and your membership will be valid until December 31^st 2009. That’s an extra 2 months of membership! TDGA membership includes a T-Shirt, Koozie Cup, and Bag Tag. Membership fee is $25.00 annually. Please help support Temple Disc Golf and join now! Memberships can be obtained at the Monthly Minis.

TEXAS TEAMS

TDGA will have a team this year for Texas Teams. This tournament will be held November 22^nd & 23^rd at Circle R Ranch in Wimberlly.
